GSA Certification of HDP5000-LC
The Fargo HDP5000-LC Card Printer/Encoder has been formally certified as FIPS 201 compliant by the United States General Services Administration (GSA) and placed on the FIPS 201 Approved Products List (APL).
The certification enables government agencies and other organizations to use the HID Global HDP® (High Definition Printing) technology to comply with the FIPS 201 standard as mandated by Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12. The directive establishes a government-wide standard for ID cards for all federal employees and contractors.
