SAN CARLOS, Calif. – March 10, 2009 –Jolly Technologies announces the public release of Lobby Track version 4.2. Highlights of this release include advanced check in features, improved synchronization across multiple installations, sophisticated watch list logic and many improvements geared toward more efficient set-up and manageability.
"Lobby Track version 4.2 is about polish," said Kurt Bell, VP Sales and Marketing, Jolly Technologies. "We've made features more obvious and easier to deploy. We've added a configuration wizard to make initial setup an easy step-by-step process. We've introduced validation to ensure that features are properly configured. We've made more options user-definable. We've done a lot of little things that make a really good product, great!"
"In Lobby Track 4.2 we've also added two long sought features to the check in/out process. We now have the ability to check people in and out while the receptionist is using the computer for other tasks. We've added the ability to hear different sounds when a person checks in and out or is restricted. This same functionality allows for multiple check-in stations connected to a single workstation."
Release 4.1 introduced workstation profiles, a feature that provides a fast-start for the end-user through pre-configured profiles for several common scenarios such as visitor management, membership management, employee time and attendance tracking, event tracking, as well as a means to deploy such configurations across large organizations. Release 4.2 extends that capability with faster deployment and better management capabilities for enterprise installations.
Lobby Track 4.2 has improved the watch list capabilities by allowing the user to define multiple logical statements for precise list matching. Customizable field options have been added to time and attendance reports and expanded in the logs.
The data management capabilities have been improved with the introduction of several new features and options. Data entry screen layout and automatic data formatting have been re-designed into a unified interface. A new record query feature allows users to pull a full set or subset of records for display and data export. Data importing continues to be available in Lobby Track Enterprise Edition.
