More user-friendliness

Starting from printer serial number 1XXXXXXXXXX (11-digit), every Securion ships with:

• An easy-to-load cassette for laminate films 
• New patented spindles and cores for laminate films for a higher precision when applying laminates
• Dedicated adhesive cleaning cards for the lamination module
• A new LCD display (driven by a new Firmware version)
• A new chassis as well as new cleaning rollers in silicone
• New ship kit including new drivers & user’s manuals as well as 3 spare laminate cores, a loading cassette, 3 laminator cleaning cards and a Quick Start guide
• A more robust packaging in Kraft fitted with handles and new foams

Printer / Laminate ribbons compatibility

I.E. it is possible to install new ribbons with new cores on the SECURION V1 (with previous spindles) but it is not possible to install previous laminate ribbons with old cores on the SECURION V2 (with new spindles).
